Testimonials
John, 32 years old – severe lower back issues:
“I had been seriously struggling with my back for almost ten years. After various treatments and therapies (none of which offered any structural relief), I decided to give yoga a try. In order to ensure maximum effectiveness, I chose for private lessons. I started to feel a significant difference after a couple of months, which made my initial cynicism quickly, disappear. Thanks to yoga, I have been without back pains for nearly a year now. Therefore, I can truly recommend private yoga classes to anyone who wants to effectively deal with a (complicated) physical injury.”
Sylvie, 43 years old – working mom with 3 children
Started yoga to work on her breath (suffering from asthma, allergies and chronic inflamed mucous membrane) and to get healthier: “Yoga let me breathe! After doing yoga for a year, I can finally breathe through my nose again. I also feel more flexible, fit, healthier, and more kind and calm. A private class of yoga is the best gift I could give to myself.”
Hannah, 41 years old – working mom with 2 small children
Started yoga to get in shape, to increase physical strength and flexibility, suffers from rheumatism; “For quite some time I was feeling very dizzy, and started to experiencing more and more difficulties breathing. I was very busy, with work and family life, and my neck and shoulders were so tense! My wrists and joints were also hurting, because of my rheumatism, and my overall energy level was low. I came to yoga to reconnect to my mind and body, and to increase my strength and flexibility. After only a few weeks I started feeling so much more energized, and my inner motivation to move and stretch increased. My breathing difficulties and dizziness have disappeared, and I feel a great joy in practicing. I’ve chosen to do 3 private classes every week, and it’s one of the best investments I’ve done for myself!”
Lilly, 40 years old – mother to a son of 1, and recovering from cancer
“Last summer, in the 36th week of my pregnancy I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After giving birth, my breast was amputated and I had to go through a heavy chemo treatment. After finishing the chemo I wanted to build up my condition and physical strength, but I didn’t know where to start. I felt weak, my body hurt and I felt insecure because I had lost all of my hair and one of my breasts. Yoga seemed a good way to start, but I didn’t want to go to a group. A friend suggested private lessons. Searching the web I found Delight Yoga. The website looked fresh and positive and the teachers looked so calm and healthy and pretty. In February I had my first private yoga lesson with Kristin. My body was extremely tense, so the first goal was stress relief. Right from the start the lessons were a great help in the process of my recovery. My body relaxed and my strength and confidence grew. The one-on-one setting was even greater than I expected. The room is wonderful, and the fact that there are no sounds and emotions of other people is very relaxing and helpful for me. The full attention, the calm voice and helpful advice of the teacher continue to be a great joy to me”.
